Sinis
A few kilometers from the Agriturismo Pinuccia and the B&B Monte Prama we find some of the most beautiful beaches on the west coast and the whole island: “Is Arutas” and “Mari Ermi”, famous for the uniqueness of the sand, composed of small grains of quartz with shades of colors between green, pink and white. The sea is crystal clear and the deep seabed from the shore takes on colors between deep green and blue. These are not the only beaches, in fact, we have Maimoni, San Giovanni di Sinis and the island of Mal di Ventre whose small beaches and coves are real natural paradises, sandy, isolated and uncontaminated, where it is easy to sight turtledoves, gulls and cormorants.
The sea is enchanting, blue and turquoise, crystal clear, ideal for snorkelers.
Is Arutas
Arutas Beach owes its uniqueness to the sand, composed of small quartz grains with shades of colors between green, pink and white.
The sea is crystal clear and the deep seabed from the shore takes on colors between deep green and blue.
Maimoni
Â
A short distance, following the road, we find the Maimoni Beach, characterized by very white sand and rich in nuances due to the large presence of white and pink quartz pebbles.
The beach owes its name to the water god Maimone.
Mari Ermi
On the same coast, we find the beach of Mari Ermi, a beautiful beach of white sand due to the presence of white quartz.
Here the sea becomes, especially in the winter months, a great attraction for surfing enthusiasts thanks to a strong and constant wind that gives life to long and high waves.
San Giovanni di Sinis
The beach of San Giovanni di Sinis is located in the coastal hamlet of the same name, north of Capo San Marco and a few kilometers from the town of Cabras.
It is a beautiful beach of fine and white sand, which stretches in the bay of the same name for over 4 kilometers.
The sea that bathes it is green and deep, rich in corals, madrepore, and sponges.
Mal di Ventre Island
The beaches of the island of Mal di Ventre stretch out on this unique island, with its unaltered beauty, which is about 5 nautical miles from the coast of the Sinis.
The Island of Mal di Ventre, currently belonging to the Municipality of Cabras,
it is the only remnant of an extensive granite block that bordered the entire west coast of Sardinia in very remote eras.
The small beaches and coves of the island are real natural paradises,
sandy, isolated and uncontaminated, where it is easy to spot turtledoves, gulls, and cormorants.
The sea is enchanting, blue and turquoise, crystal clear, ideal for snorkelers.
